Versatile Robotics grew out of more than a decade of advanced robotics and control research at the German Aerospace Center. What began with some of robotics’ hardest problems: complex motion, physical interaction and safety, became GECO SafeCore and, ultimately, Versatile Robotics: a company built to bring advanced robot control out of research and into real products.

Who we are today.

We are a focused robotics company combining deep technical expertise, ambitious engineering and a strong product mindset. Together with robot manufacturers, Embodied AI companies and technology partners, we are working toward robots that are faster, more precise, more sensitive, more robust and safer, and toward making that physical competence available at scale.

We believe the hardest robotics problems are solved by excellent technology and excellent people. Versatile is open-minded, technology-driven and people-centric: a small, highly focused team of specialists, and people determined to become specialists, who enjoy building difficult things together. We are deliberately selective and always interested in meeting exceptional minds who want to push robotics forward.
